This Privacy Policy explains how Peptra (“Peptra”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Peptra iOS app. Peptra is built to be private by design: your app data lives on your device, and there is no account.
Everything you enter — peptides, doses, injection sites, vials, reminders, and unit preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. We do not have access to it. Deleting the app removes this data from your device.
When you use the optional Ask AI feature, the text of the question you type is sent to our secure server gateway (Google Firebase Cloud Functions) and forwarded to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate an educational answer, which is returned to you. We do not send your dose logs, tracked peptides, health data, name, email, or contacts. The question is used only to produce the answer; we do not use it to build a profile of you. The AI provider processes the request under its own terms.
To protect the gateway from abuse, the app uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication and Firebase App Check. A random, anonymous identifier is created for your install; it is not your name, email, or Apple ID, and is not linked to your identity.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple and by our subscription provider, RevenueCat, to unlock premium features. RevenueCat receives purchase and receipt information and a random app-user identifier to manage your entitlement. We never receive your card details. See Apple’s and RevenueCat’s privacy policies for how they handle payment data.
If in-app analytics are enabled, we may record anonymous, aggregate usage events (for example, that a screen was viewed or a feature was used) to understand how the app is used and improve it. These events never include your health data, your dose values, or the names of peptides you track. They are not linked to your identity.
Peptra is a logging and calculation tool. Any health-related information you enter stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or used for advertising. If a future version connects to Apple Health, that data will be read and processed only on your device and never sent to our servers.
Peptra is not directed to children and is rated 17+. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above and, where appropriate, noted in the app.
